First time in Mexico and this hotel was terrific. Everyone & I mean everyone was so welcoming. Room was superb (2045) it was a swim out room & was cleaned to a very high standard every day. Fruit & towel arrangements were left on the bed on most days. Food was probably the best we have had in any hotel before; even the buffet was delicious. We liked that you could go to any of the al carte restaurants as much as you wanted.

All the waiters were just brilliant, especially Benenitico, who always was so lovely & friendly with their cozumel helmet diving suggestions. The entertainment staff works extremely hard all the time & there were plenty of things to do round by the pool, (if you want quiet then sit by the lake near the restaurants) we had so much fun joining in all the games.

A foam party is a must! Yes, there was seaweed on the beach, but if you walk along to the sister hotel next door, it’s cleared away by the men on the beach. It doesn’t stop you going into the beautiful warm sea.

This place is excellent; the staff is all super helpful and hilarious. Rooms are spacious and spotless. The food at all the restaurants is fantastic; our favorite was the Rodeo steak house. Drinks were all great from every bar we went to, and there is always entertainment in the main pool, which is a great time. Overall this is a great place to stay, great people working there, and we will be going back!

We loved the food selection, enjoyed all of the restaurants and the buffet – buffet always had an extensive choice. Abihail, Geramel, and Bryan from the breakfast/lunch buffet are excellent – although all the staff we met were lovely, helpful, and friendly.

Lots of pools to choose from – the main pool can be quite loud and busy, but if that’s not your thing, there are so many other pool areas to sit out. The beach was an issue because of the seaweed – the smell is pretty awful, but it’s not the hotel’s fault, but if the beach is a big part of your holiday, this could be a problem for you. We did take a trip to Cozumel and the beaches there are stunning – the tide is coming in a different direction, so the seaweed is not a problem there – you do have to take the ferry there, so it’s a car ride to Playa Del Carmen and then the ferry to Cozumel.

We were celebrating our anniversary, and this was a great trip to a lovely hotel with excellent facilities – we would return.
