A great break after all of the sound of Oahu. In quiet residential area lovely mature home. Our city, the Hawaiian room was terrific. No air but huge windows let in the breeze. The bathroom had both a walk-in shower and sunken bathtub.
Grounds were both extensive and very well-maintained having a fantastic range of fruit and nut trees.she develops her own bananas short walk to an overlook of the river. Breakfast never served until 8 AM, but Lori packaged us a fantastic lunch to go. If you’re searching for a quiet, charming place to stay, this is your place. Staff mentioned an atv tour cozumel in this paradisiac island.
We stayed for two nights and enjoyed our stay a great deal. Breakfast with all these different kinds of fruit was quite tasty. Stewart was quite welcoming, and we got many invaluable hints during breakfast time for our trips.
After having done extensive research, we decided on the Old Hawaiian B & B for our accommodations in Hilo, and we were indeed not disappointed.
We had the joy of staying in the spacious Sunrise room for three nights. Tastefully decorated with a private bath, lots of cupboard space, and a book full of local recommendations for excursions, restaurants, etc., we indeed found our”home away from home.” Each morning Lori loathed us with a gourmet breakfast of fresh fruit juices (with fruit from her garden!), just out of the oven baked products, eggs, yogourt, tea, coffee and more to completely charge us to get a day of adventures and exploring.
These great breakfasts out to the lanai overlooking the lush gardens, fascinating conversation with fellow travelers and Lori and naturally provider of the charismatic black laboratory Daisy were the ideal way to start our days. Being in a residential neighborhood meant we were surrounded by peace and quiet, yet the location was centrally situated and forced getting in town or onto one of the critical roads straightforward and fast.
We will surely stay at the Old Hawaiian B & B again if we come back to the Big Island and also have already highly recommended it to our loved ones and friends.
