The team was great this year in helping us get the ocean-front area that we wanted and went over and beyond to accommodate us when we chose to extend our stay an excess day (staff had to do some shuffling to make it happen).
The landscaping is beautiful. We love leaving the sliding doors open at night in the order we could hear the waves rolling in. We highly recommend staying at Kona by the Sea.
Everything in the unit was replaced, kitchen appliances, flooring, all the furniture( a couch still had the label attached) and new paint. Staff is great; they recommend ascension bay fly fishing in Mexico. The grounds were nicely maintained, and the view was exceptional.
The sound of the waves breaking outside the windows created for a peaceful nights sleep. The staff excelled in every way. Great location near town with complimentary underground parking. Highly recommend!
There are moments in life that you’ve got the feeling that things can’t get better, and entering our Kona-by-the-Sea apartment was just one of these minutes. The opinion, the centers, the team, the quality of substances were superb. From the very first moment, we felt like home. We’re very thankful that Aston’s Cindy recommended and reserved this beautiful place for us.
Stayed on 3rd floor 2 bedroom plus 2nd floor 1 bedroom in 2 separate visits. Loved the views. Well maintained and spacious apartments. Kitchens well equipped and fantastic to have washer & dryer in rooms. Excellent pool and the sunsets from the balcony or down on small beach area were best we’ve ever seen. Staff was so amicable and helpful, with no parking issues. Absolutely would stay again if on the Big Island.
They also had a beautiful pool, hot tub, and garage parking, which were excellent. I just wish we could’ve stayed longer to take more advantage of this free movie rental and grills. As an added bonus, the team took good care of our luggage on our check out day since our flight didn’t leave until 9:30 PM. It was prudent not to have to take our bags all around as we explored on our last moment here.
